[1120] "How did you see it?" — this is a question about physical characteristics (liṅga), a question about postures (iriyāpatha), a question about guise (ākāra), and a question about alteration (vippakāra). "A question about physical characteristics" means: whether tall or short, dark or fair. "A question about postures" means: whether walking, standing, sitting, or lying down. "A question about guise" means: whether in the guise of a householder, in the guise of a sectarian, or in the guise of one gone forth. "A question about alteration" means: whether walking, standing, sitting, or lying down.
