[1121] "When did you see it?" — this is a question about the time (kāla), a question about the occasion (samaya), a question about the day (divasa), a question about the season (utu). "A question about the time" means: at the morning time, at the midday time, or at the evening time. "A question about the occasion" means: on the morning occasion, on the midday occasion, or on the evening occasion. "A question about the day" means: before the meal or after the meal, by night or by day, in the dark fortnight or in the bright fortnight. "A question about the season" means: in the cold season, in the hot season, or in the rainy season.
