"Endowed with five factors, Upāli, a meal-assigner is deposited in hell as if carried there and put down. Which five? He goes a wrong course out of desire (chandāgati); he goes a wrong course out of hatred (dosāgati); he goes a wrong course out of delusion (mohāgati); he goes a wrong course out of fear (bhayāgati); and he does not know what has been assigned and what has not been assigned. Endowed with these five factors, Upāli, a meal-assigner is deposited in hell as if carried there and put down.
