[1243] At the rising of dawn, how many offenses are there? How many are those (announced) up to the third time (yāvatatiyakā)? How many herein have eight grounds (aṭṭhavatthukā)? By how many is the whole comprised? At the rising of dawn there are three offenses; two are those (announced) up to the third time; one herein has eight grounds; by one is the whole comprised.
