How many pārājika offenses by speech?
How many offenses of suggestive speech (obhāsana) have been declared?
And how many by acting as a go-between (sañcaritta)?
In the destruction of life there are three offenses;
pārājika offenses by speech, three;
offenses of suggestive speech have been declared to be three;
and by acting as a go-between, three.
