[1272] How many are the grounds of resentment (āghātavatthu)? By how many grounds is the Saṅgha split? How many here are offenses of the first act (paṭhamāpattikā)? How many are the acts done by motion (ñatti)? Nine are the grounds of resentment; by nine grounds the Saṅgha is split; nine here are offenses of the first act; nine are the acts done by motion.
