[1271] For how many is there cutting off (chejja)? For how many a grave offence (thullaccaya)? And for how many is there no offence (anāpatti), all with one and the same ground (vatthu)? For one there is cutting off; for four, a grave offence; and for four there is no offence — all with one and the same ground.
