[1270] With how many proclamations is the higher ordination (upasampadā)?
For how many should one rise up?
To how many should a seat be given?
With how many [qualities] is the exhorter of bhikkhunīs (bhikkhunovādaka) [endowed]?
The higher ordination is with eight proclamations (aṭṭhavācikā);
for eight should one rise up;
to eight should a seat be given;
the exhorter of bhikkhunīs [is endowed] with eight.
