[1280] [Question:] "Those classes of offenses (āpattikkhandhāni) that were taught by the Infinite Conqueror (Anantajina), the steadfast one (tādī), the seer of seclusion (vivekadassī) — how many among them are settled without the means of settlement (samatha)? I ask you that: declare it, O expert in the Vibhaṅga." [Answer:] "Those classes of offenses that were taught by the Infinite Conqueror, the steadfast one, the seer of seclusion — one among them is settled without the means of settlement. That I declare to you, O expert in the Vibhaṅga."
