[1354] To which five instances (ṭhāna) does an act of announcement (apalokanakamma) apply? Restoration (osāraṇā), removal (nissāraṇā), the act of head-shaving (bhaṇḍukamma), the supreme penalty (brahmadaṇḍa), and the mere characteristic of a formal act (kammalakkhaṇa) as the fifth. An act of announcement applies to these five instances.
