[1355] To which nine grounds does a formal act consisting of a motion (ñattikamma) apply?
To restoration (osāraṇā), to removal (nissāraṇā), to the Uposatha, to the Pavāraṇā, to an appointment (sammati), to giving (dāna), to receiving (paṭiggaha), to postponement (paccukkaḍḍhana), and to that which has the characteristic of a formal act (kammalakkhaṇa) as the ninth. A formal act consisting of a motion applies to these nine grounds.
