[240] For one who, out of disrespect (anādariya), defecates, urinates, or spits on green plants (harita), there is an offense of wrong conduct (dukkaṭa). … There is one rule laid down (paññatti) and one amendment (anupaññatti). Of the six origins of offenses (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through one origin: it arises from body and from mind (citta), not from speech.
