[244] Engaging in sexual intercourse (methunadhamma), how many offenses (āpatti) does one commit?
Engaging in sexual intercourse, one commits three offenses: one engages in sexual intercourse with a body that has not been eaten away — an offense of pārājika; one engages in sexual intercourse with a body that has been for the most part eaten away — an offense of thullaccaya; one inserts the male organ (aṅgajāta), without its touching, into an opened mouth — an offense of dukkaṭa. Engaging in sexual intercourse, one commits these three offenses.
