[293] One conveying malicious speech (pesuñña) commits two offenses (āpatti): he conveys malicious speech to one fully ordained (upasampanna) — an offense of pācittiya; he conveys malicious speech to one not fully ordained (anupasampanna) — an offense of dukkaṭa.
