[300] A **bhikkhu** digging the earth commits two offences (āpatti): while digging, in the act of undertaking it, [he commits] an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); with each and every stroke, an offence entailing expiation (pācittiya). The first chapter, on false speech (Musāvādavagga), [is finished].
