[308] Sitting down upon a bed or a bench with detachable legs (āhaccapādaka) in the upper loft (vehāsakuṭi) of a dwelling belonging to the Saṅgha, one incurs two offenses (āpatti): in the act of sitting down, an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); when one has sat down, an offense of expiation (pācittiya).
