[348] Not having taken any one of the three means of disfigurement (dubbaṇṇakaraṇa), a bhikkhu using a new robe (cīvara) commits two offenses (āpatti): while he is using it, there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa) in the act; when it has been used, there is an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya).
