[349] Having himself assigned (vikappetvā) a robe to a bhikkhu, or to a bhikkhunī, or to a female probationer (sikkhamānā), or to a novice (sāmaṇera), or to a female novice (sāmaṇerī), one who uses it without the assignment having been rescinded (apaccuddhāraka) commits two offenses (āpatti): while he is using it, in the act itself there is an offense of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa); when it has been used, an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya).
