Sappāṇakavagga

Vinayapiṭaka · Parivāra · Vol. 8 · Section 360

[360] A bhikkhu who, knowing him to be so expelled (nāsita), befriends a novice (samaṇuddesa) incurs two offenses: while he is befriending him, in the act there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); when he has been befriended, there is an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya). The seventh chapter, on that which contains living beings (Sappāṇakavagga), is finished.
