[369] Having given consent (chanda) for formal acts (kamma) that are in accordance with the Dhamma, a bhikkhu who afterwards falls into grumbling commits two offences (āpatti): while he is grumbling, in the act of effort, there is an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); when the grumbling is completed, there is an offence entailing expiation (pācittiya).
