[385] A bhikkhu who, having received with his own hand hard food (khādanīya) or soft food (bhojanīya) among families designated as trainees (sekkhasammata), eats it, commits two offences: he receives it, thinking, "I shall eat it" — an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); for every mouthful swallowed — an offence entailing acknowledgment (pāṭidesanīya).
