Pārājikkaṇḍa

Vinayapiṭaka · Parivāra · Vol. 8 · Section 652

[652] Completing the eighth ground (vatthu), how many offences (āpatti) does she commit? Completing the eighth ground, she commits three offences: being told by a man, "Go to the inner room named such-and-such (gabbha)," she goes — an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); as soon as she has come within arm's reach (hatthapāsa) of the man — a grave offence (thullaccaya); she completes the eighth ground — an offence entailing defeat (pārājika). Completing the eighth ground, she commits these three offences. The Pārājikas are concluded.
