[693] One who curses (abhisapantī) herself or another with hell (niraya) or with the holy life (brahmacariya) commits two offences (āpatti): while she is cursing, there is an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa) for the act (payoga); when the curse has been uttered, there is an offence entailing expiation (pācittiya).
