[786] For a bhikkhunī who, having asked for curds, eats them — by how many of the seven means of settlement (samatha) are the offences settled? The offences of one who, having asked for curds, eats them are settled by three of the seven means of settlement: sometimes by settlement in the presence (sammukhāvinaya) and by acting upon acknowledgment (paṭiññātakaraṇa); sometimes by settlement in the presence (sammukhāvinaya) and by covering over as with grass (tiṇavatthāraka).
