[813] Through the act of urging (uyyojana)—[that is, a bhikkhunī saying:] "What, noble lady, will this male person do to you, whether he is lustful (avassuta) or not lustful, since you are not lustful? Come, noble lady, whatever hard food or soft food this male person gives you, receive it with your own hand and chew it or eat it"—she incurs three offenses: when, at her word, [the other] accepts it, [thinking,] "I shall chew it, I shall eat it," there is an offense of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa); for each mouthful swallowed, an offense of grave transgression (thullaccaya); at the completion of the meal, an offense entailing a formal meeting of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa).
