[836] The Tathāgatas do not teach the true Dhamma (saddhamma)
to one with an umbrella in hand,
likewise to one with a staff in hand,
to one with a knife in hand, to one with a weapon in hand;
wooden shoes, sandals, a vehicle,
a bed, and sitting clasping the knees,
and one with head wrapped and one with head covered —
eleven, lacking none.
They arise through speech together with mind;
they do not arise from the body.
All have a single origination (samuṭṭhāna),
equal to that of teaching the Dhamma.
The Origination by Teaching the Dhamma is concluded.
