Means of settlement (samathā) that are shared,
And partaking of a means of settlement;
Means of settlement and in-the-presence (sammukhā),
In the discipline (vinaye) and by one skilled;
Where, occasion, conjoined,
Are settled and are not settled;
And the legal issue concerning settlement,
And they partake of origination (samuṭṭhāna).
