[951] There are two foolish persons: one who takes up a burden that has not yet arrived, and one who does not take up a burden that has arrived. There are two wise persons: one who does not take up a burden that has not yet arrived, and one who takes up a burden that has arrived.
There are two further foolish persons: one who perceives what is not allowable (akappiya) as allowable (kappiya), and one who perceives what is allowable as not allowable. There are two wise persons: one who perceives what is not allowable as not allowable, and one who perceives what is allowable as allowable.
There are two further foolish persons: one who perceives what is not an offense (anāpatti) as an offense (āpatti), and one who perceives what is an offense as not an offense. There are two wise persons: one who perceives what is an offense as an offense, and one who perceives what is not an offense as not an offense.
There are two further foolish persons: one who perceives what is not Dhamma as Dhamma, and one who perceives what is Dhamma as not Dhamma. There are two wise persons: one who perceives what is not Dhamma as not Dhamma, and one who perceives what is Dhamma as Dhamma.
There are two further foolish persons: one who perceives what is not Vinaya as Vinaya, and one who perceives what is Vinaya as not Vinaya. There are two wise persons: one who perceives what is not Vinaya as not Vinaya, and one who perceives what is Vinaya as Vinaya.
