[956] There is an offense (āpatti) that a fool commits, but not a wise person; there is an offense that a wise person commits, but not a fool; there is an offense that both a fool and a wise person commit.
There is an offense that one commits in the dark fortnight (kāḷapakkha), but not in the bright fortnight (juṇhapakkha); there is an offense that one commits in the bright fortnight, but not in the dark fortnight; there is an offense that one commits both in the dark fortnight and in the bright fortnight.
There is that which is allowable in the dark fortnight, but not in the bright fortnight; there is that which is allowable in the bright fortnight, but not in the dark fortnight; there is that which is allowable both in the dark fortnight and in the bright fortnight.
There is an offense that one commits in the winter, but not in the summer nor in the rains; there is an offense that one commits in the summer, but not in the winter nor in the rains; there is an offense that one commits in the rains, but not in the summer nor in the winter.
There is an offense that the Saṅgha commits, but not a group (gaṇa), nor an individual (puggala); there is an offense that a group commits, but not the Saṅgha, nor an individual; there is an offense that an individual commits, but not the Saṅgha, nor a group.
