[960] There is an offence (āpatti) that one commits inside, not outside; there is an offence that one commits outside, not inside; there is an offence that one commits both inside and outside. There is an offence that one commits within the boundary (sīmā), not outside the boundary; there is an offence that one commits outside the boundary, not within the boundary; there is an offence that one commits both within the boundary and outside the boundary.
