[353] Then the brahmin Lohicca addressed the barber Rosika: "Come, friend Rosika, go to the ascetic Gotama, and having approached, ask in my name whether the ascetic Gotama is free from illness and affliction, light in movement, strong, and dwelling in comfort, saying: 'Worthy Gotama, the brahmin Lohicca asks whether the worthy Gotama is free from illness and affliction, light in movement, strong, and dwelling in comfort.' And say this also: 'May the worthy Gotama, together with the Saṅgha of bhikkhus, consent to accept tomorrow's meal from the brahmin Lohicca.'"
"Yes, sir," the barber Rosika replied to the brahmin Lohicca, and he approached the Blessed One. Having approached and paid homage to the Blessed One, he sat down to one side. Seated to one side, the barber Rosika said to the Blessed One: "Venerable sir, the brahmin Lohicca asks whether the Blessed One is free from illness and affliction, light in movement, strong, and dwelling in comfort. And he says this: 'Venerable sir, may the Blessed One, together with the Saṅgha of bhikkhus, consent to accept tomorrow's meal from the brahmin Lohicca.'"
The Blessed One consented by silence.
