[125] There is no offense (anāpatti): for one who perceives it as his own (sakasaññī); in taking on the basis of trust (vissāsagāha); in taking temporarily [i.e., borrowing] (tāvakālika); in the case of property possessed by a peta (petapariggaha); in the case of property possessed by an animal (tiracchānagatapariggaha); for one who perceives it as discarded refuse (paṃsukūlasaññī); for one who is insane (ummattaka); for the first offender (ādikammika).
The first recitation section (bhāṇavāra) on taking what is not given (adinnādāna) is concluded.
