[204] [Summary verse of the cases decided (vinītavatthu) — Pārājika III]
Extolling (death), sitting down (upon a child), and with pestle and with mortar,
those gone forth in old age, the meat stuck (in the throat), and by poison too;¹
Three (cases) through site-preparation works, three others with bricks,
the adze, and likewise the rafter, the scaffolding; concerning descending; (he) fell;
Sweating-treatment and nasal-treatment, and massage,
with bathing and with anointing in oil;
Making (him) rise up, making (him) fall down, causing death by food and by drink;
pregnant by a paramour, and the co-wife; (she) slew both — mother and child;
Both did not die; the crushings; the heating; the barren woman; the woman of childbearing;
the goad (tickling); in pressing down; the yakkha; and he dispatched (him) to a savage yakkha;
Thinking it was he, he struck; one should tell of heaven and of hell;
the three trees at Āḷavī, three others with forest-fires;
"Do not weary (him)"; "not by your (word)"; buttermilk and with sour gruel (socīraka).
