[203] There is no offense: for one who acts unintentionally; for one who does not know; for one who does not intend death; for one who is mad; for one whose mind is deranged; for one racked by feeling (vedanā); for the first offender (ādikammika). The first recitation section (bhāṇavāra) in the pārājika concerning a human being is concluded.
