[260] "By three modes … [saying:] 'I attained, I attain, I have attained the first absorption (jhāna) and the four establishments of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna); the first absorption and the four right strivings (sammappadhāna); the first absorption and the four bases of spiritual power (iddhipāda); I am an obtainer of, I have mastery over, the first absorption and the four bases of spiritual power; the first absorption and the four bases of spiritual power have been realized by me' — for one knowingly speaking falsehood, there is an offense of pārājika. …"
