[287] Now at that time a certain bhikkhu spoke boastfully of a superhuman state (uttarimanussadhamma) to another bhikkhu. That bhikkhu too spoke thus: "For me also, friend, the fetters (saññojana) are abandoned." He was remorseful. He reported the matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhu, you have committed an offense entailing pārājika."
