[37] **"Not in communion" (asaṃvāso):** communion (saṃvāsa) means a common formal act (ekakamma), a common recitation (ekuddesa), and equality in training (samasikkhātā) — this is called communion. That [communion] does not exist together with him; therefore he is called "not in communion."
