[441] A man sends a bhikkhu, saying: "Go, venerable sir, and tell the woman of such-and-such a name who is protected by her clan (gottarakkhitā) and the one protected by the dhamma (dhammarakkhitā) …; the one protected by her clan and the one under protection (sārakkhā) …; the one protected by her clan and the one protected by law (saparidaṇḍā) …; the one protected by her clan and the one protected by her mother (māturakkhitā) …; the one protected by her clan and the one protected by her father (piturakkhitā) …; the one protected by her clan and the one protected by her mother and father (mātāpiturakkhitā) …; the one protected by her clan and the one protected by her brother (bhāturakkhitā) …; the one protected by her clan and the one protected by her sister (bhaginīrakkhitā) …; the one protected by her clan and the one protected by her relatives (ñātirakkhitā), saying: 'It is said: be the bride-price wives (dhanakkītā) of the man of such-and-such a name.'" He accepts, he inquires, he brings back the reply: an offense of saṅghādisesa.
