Vinayapiṭaka · Bhikkhu Vibhaṅga (1) · Vol. 1 · Section 486

[486] A woman protected by threat of punishment (saparidaṇḍā) sends a bhikkhu, saying: "Go, venerable sir, say to the man named so-and-so: 'I shall be the wife of so-and-so — both a temporary wife (muhuttikā) and one bought with money (dhanakkītā)' … 'both a temporary wife and one carried off under the flag (dhajāhaṭā).'" He accepts, he conveys the message, he brings back the reply: there is an offense entailing a formal meeting of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa). The section based on one (ekamūlaka) is finished. The sections based on two and so forth should be done in the same way. This is the section based on ten (dasamūlaka).
