[524] A **large dwelling (mahallaka vihāra)** is what one having an owner (sassāmika) is called. **Dwelling (vihāra)**: it is plastered within, or plastered without, or plastered both within and without. **Causing to be built**: building it himself, or having it built. **Having an owner**: some other person is the owner — whether a woman or a man, a householder or one gone forth. **Designated for himself (attuddesa)**: for his own benefit.
