[537] A bhikkhu, having given instructions, departs, saying: "Build a dwelling (vihāra) for me." They build the dwelling for him on a site that has not been designated (adesitavatthuka), one entailing harm (sārambha), and lacking space around it (aparikkamana). If he returns while it is still unfinished, that dwelling must either be given by that bhikkhu to another, or be demolished and built again.
