[563] A person is impure, having committed a certain offence entailing expulsion (pārājika). If, regarding him as impure, one speaks with the intention of making him fall away without first having him grant leave (okāsa), there is an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). A person is impure, having committed a certain offence entailing expulsion. If, regarding him as impure, one speaks with the intention of making him fall away after having had him grant leave, there is no offence. A person is impure, having committed a certain offence entailing expulsion. If, regarding him as impure, one speaks with the intention of abusing him without first having him grant leave, there is an offence of wrong-doing together with insulting speech (omasavāda). A person is impure, having committed a certain offence entailing expulsion. If, regarding him as impure, one speaks with the intention of abusing him after having had him grant leave, there is an offence of insulting speech.
