[65] Now at that time a certain bhikkhu had impaired faculties (indriya). Thinking, "I do not feel pleasure or pain; there will be no offence (āpatti) for me," he engaged in sexual intercourse (methuna dhamma). … They informed the Blessed One of this matter. "Bhikkhus, whether that foolish man (moghapurisa) felt it or did not feel it, there is an offence entailing pārājika."
