[272] And while this exposition (veyyākaraṇa) was being spoken, there arose in Sakka, lord of the devas, the dustless, stainless eye of Dhamma (dhammacakkhu): "Whatever is of a nature to arise, all that is of a nature to cease" — and likewise for eighty thousand other deities. Thus the questions which Sakka, lord of the devas, was invited to ask, and which he asked, were answered by the Blessed One. Therefore "The Questions of Sakka" (Sakkapañha) is the very designation of this exposition.
The Sakkapañha Sutta, the eighth, is finished.
