[189] Householder's son, one who speaks only to please (anuppiyabhāṇī) should be known as an enemy in the guise of a friend on four grounds: he consents to his friend's evil deeds; he consents also to his good deeds; he speaks his praise to his face; he speaks his dispraise behind his back. On these four grounds, householder's son, one who speaks only to please should be known as an enemy in the guise of a friend.
