[198] "And how, householder's son, is the noble disciple one who covers the six directions? These six directions, householder's son, should be understood: the eastern direction should be understood as mother and father; the southern direction should be understood as teachers; the western direction should be understood as children and wife; the northern direction should be understood as friends and companions; the direction below should be understood as servants and workers; the direction above should be understood as ascetics and brahmins."
