Saṅgītisutta

Suttapiṭaka · Dīghanikāya · Pāthikavagga · Vol. 11 · Section 277

[277] **Four more individuals (puggalā):** 1. The unshaken ascetic (samaṇamacala); 2. The pink-lotus ascetic (samaṇapaduma); 3. The white-lotus ascetic (samaṇapuṇḍarīka); 4. The delicate ascetic among ascetics (samaṇesu samaṇasukhumāla). These, friends, are the dhammas in groups of four rightly proclaimed by that Blessed One who knows and sees, the Arahant, the Perfectly Self-Awakened One. Therein all should recite in concert … for the good, for the welfare, for the happiness of gods and humans. The Fours of the Saṅgīti are ended.
