[68] An aristocrat (khattiya) too, Vāseṭṭha, having practiced good conduct by body, having practiced good conduct by speech, having practiced good conduct by mind, being one of right view (sammādiṭṭhi), undertaking action in accordance with right view—because of undertaking action in accordance with right view, with the breaking up of the body, after death, is reborn in a good destination, a heavenly world. A brahmin (brāhmaṇa) too, Vāseṭṭha … A merchant (vessa) too, Vāseṭṭha … A worker (sudda) too, Vāseṭṭha … An ascetic (samaṇa) too, Vāseṭṭha, having practiced good conduct by body, having practiced good conduct by speech, having practiced good conduct by mind, being one of right view, undertaking action in accordance with right view—because of undertaking action in accordance with right view, with the breaking up of the body, after death, is reborn in a good destination, a heavenly world.
