Covetousness and unrighteous greed (abhijjhāvisamalobha) is a corruption of the mind; ill will (byāpāda) is a corruption of the mind; anger (kodha) is a corruption of the mind; resentment (upanāha) is a corruption of the mind; denigration (makkha) is a corruption of the mind; insolent rivalry (paḷāsa) is a corruption of the mind; envy (issā) is a corruption of the mind; stinginess (macchariya) is a corruption of the mind; deceit (māyā) is a corruption of the mind; fraudulence (sāṭheyya) is a corruption of the mind; obstinacy (thambha) is a corruption of the mind; contentiousness (sārambha) is a corruption of the mind; conceit (māna) is a corruption of the mind; arrogance (atimāna) is a corruption of the mind; vanity (mada) is a corruption of the mind; negligence (pamāda) is a corruption of the mind.
