[206] "Friends, a forest-dwelling (āraññaka) bhikkhu who has come to the Saṅgha and is dwelling in the Saṅgha should not enter the village too early nor return too late in the day. If, friends, a forest-dwelling bhikkhu who has come to the Saṅgha and is dwelling in the Saṅgha enters the village too early and returns too late in the day, there will be those who say of him: 'What is the point of this venerable forest-dweller's dwelling alone in the wilderness at his own free will (serivihāra), when this venerable enters the village too early and returns too late in the day?' There will be those who say this of him. Therefore, a forest-dwelling bhikkhu who has come to the Saṅgha and is dwelling in the Saṅgha should not enter the village too early nor return too late in the day."
